Supervised Play
Just like humans, dogs are highly social creatures who possess an innate inclination to establish strong and long-lasting bonds with their fellow canines. Their social nature is one of the most remarkable aspects of their personalities, as it enables them to form intricate relationships, communicate with each other, and cooperate in a wide range of activities, including playtime. Structured play is crucial for dogs because it provides them with much-needed physical and mental stimulation. Play also models life and is an essential tool in helping dogs learn to navigate other relationships they will have throughout their lifetime. Dogs thrive on structure, and structured playtime provides them with the necessary guidelines and boundaries to ensure that their play is safe and beneficial. They learn how to interact appropriately with their owners and other dogs, and they also develop important skills such as problem-solving, impulse control, and focus. By engaging in structured play, dogs develop the physical and mental skills they need to lead healthy and happy lives, and they also form strong bonds with their owners in the process. These bonds carry over into every area of dog/human relationships and can help with obedience training and mitigate other issues like anxiety and depression.
Play groups will be available starting late spring '23 and will take place at local farms. More to come!
